About
William Fagerman is the chief judge of Michigan’s 28th Circuit Court and 84th District Court, overseeing Missaukee and Wexford counties. Appointed by Governor Jennifer Granholm on April 30, 2007, he was elected to the bench in 2008 and re-elected in 2014 for a term expiring in 2020. Fagerman earned a bachelor’s degree from Michigan Technological University and a J.D. from Wayne State University. Prior to his judicial appointment, he practiced privately and served as a prosecuting attorney in Wexford County.
