Hon. Albert B. Collier

Albert B. Collier served as Chief Judge of the Clayton County Superior Court from 1998 until his retirement in 2018. Prior to that, he was an Assistant District Attorney in Clayton County from 1983 to 1998. He presided over the Clayton County Adult Felony Drug Court from 2009 to 2017 and taught Criminal Procedure as an adjunct professor at Clayton College & State University. In 2017, he was designated to hear a case in the Supreme Court of Georgia. His career has spanned roles as Probation/Intake Officer, Assistant District Attorney, Chief Judge, and Adjunct Professor, reflecting extensive experience in criminal law, litigation, and judicial administration.
