Jonathan Woodman is a judge of the Alaska Third District Superior Court, having assumed office in 2016 after being appointed by Governor Bill Walker to fill a vacancy. A graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, Woodman earned his J.D. from Ohio State University. Prior to his judicial appointment, he practiced law at Guess & Rudd P.C. from 1999 to 2008 and served as a senior assistant attorney general and state ethics attorney. He was retained in the 2020 retention election with 62.4% of the vote, underscoring the confidence of the electorate in his service.
