<h2><span class="mw-headline" id="Education">Education</span></h2>
<p>Easter attended Seattle University for her Bachelor of Arts in French in 1981. She earned her <a href="/J.D." class="mw-redirect" title="J.D.">J.D.</a> in 1985 from the University of San Diego.<sup id="cite_ref-app_2-0" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-app-2">[2]</a></sup>
</p>
<h2><span class="mw-headline" id="Career">Career</span></h2>
<p>Easter did a one year clerkship with Judge Brian Shortell in Alaska in 1985. From 1986 to 2007 she worked with the Alaska Public Defender Agency in Anchorage. In 2007 she began work in the Office of Public Advocacy in Anchorage, where she served until joining the District Court in 2008. In March 2012, Easter was appointed to the Third District Superior Court.<sup id="cite_ref-app_2-1" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-app-2">[2]</a></sup>
