Joel Johnson is a senior judge of the 156th District Court in Texas. He was originally elected as a judge to this court in 1994, and he retired in December of 2014.[1][2][3]

Education
Johnson received his B.B.A. from Baylor University in 1975. He then graduated with a J.D. from Baylor in 1978.[3][4]

1983-1994: Attorney in private practice
1979-1983: Assistant district attorney
1978-1979: Assistant county attorney, San Patricio County
1978: Admitted to the Texas Bar[3]
Elections

Johnson was re-elected to the 156th District Court after running unopposed.[3]
