Hon. Pamela M. Parker

Pamela M. Parker is a judge of the Superior Court of San Diego County in California. She was appointed to the bench by Governor Jerry Brown on August 29, 2013, and has served continuously since then, with her current term ending January 8, 2029. Parker earned a Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Binghamton and a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School. Prior to her judicial appointment, she practiced law for nearly three decades, serving as a litigation associate at Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison LLP, Lankenau Kovner & Bickford LLP, and Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP, where she held roles ranging from associate to partner. She also served as a senior appellate attorney for the California Fourth District Court of Appeal, Division One, and taught as an adjunct professor at the University of San Diego Law School and Thomas Jefferson School of Law. Parker was re-elected to the Superior Court in 2016 and 2022, the latter election being decided by a primary vote. Her career reflects a deep commitment to the California judiciary and to the administration of justice in San Diego County.
