Hon. Gina R. Russo

Gina Russo is a judge of the Franklin County Municipal Court in Ohio, serving since March 2021. She earned a B.A. from Bowling Green State University in 1999 and a J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2002. Prior to her judicial appointment, she worked as an assistant prosecuting attorney for the Franklin County Prosecutor’s Office and as a civil litigation associate at Vorys, Sater, Seymour, and Pease, LLP. Her legal experience spans criminal prosecution, civil litigation, and constitutional law. She was elected to the bench in 2021, defeating Rena Shak, and previously served as a judge on the Franklin County Municipal Court. She is licensed to practice law in Ohio and is affiliated with several bar associations, including the Ohio Judicial Conference, Ohio State Bar Association, Columbus Bar Association, Ohio Women’s Bar Association, and others.
