About
Meredith Blaise Switzer is a seasoned Arkansas attorney and former judge who served as the District 4, Position 2 judge on the Arkansas Court of Appeals from April 8, 2019, to December 31, 2020. Prior to her appellate appointment, she was a district judge in Garland County from 2016 to 2018 and served as chief legal counsel for Quapaw House, Inc. in early 2019. Switzer’s legal career also includes tenure as deputy attorney general of the Arkansas Agencies Department beginning in 2009 and earlier work as an associate attorney at Rose Law Firm. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in 2001 and a J.D. with honors from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Law School in 2004, where she served as executive editor of the UALR Law Review.
