Hon. John L. Flynn

John L. Flynn III has served as a judge on the Superior Court of Orange County, California, since August 1998. A graduate of the University of California, Irvine (B.A. 1977, M.A. 1978) and the University of California, Hastings College of the Law (J.D. 1982), Flynn began his legal career in private practice before serving as a deputy district attorney for the Orange County District Attorney's Office from 1984 to 1997. He then worked as corporate counsel for Allstate Insurance from 1992 to 1997, and returned to private practice from 1989 to 1992. Since 1998, he has presided over cases in the Superior Court of Orange County, bringing decades of experience in criminal, civil, and administrative law to the bench.
