Hon. Jerry R. McBride

Jerry R. McBride served as a judge on the Clermont County Court of Common Pleas in Batavia, Ohio, from 1995 until his term expired on December 31, 2018. Prior to that, he held judicial positions in the Clermont County Municipal Court (1991-1995) and served in various local government roles, including Commissioner of Clermont County (1983-1991), Trustee of Union Township (1982), and Clerk of Union Township (1978-1981). McBride earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Cincinnati in 1973, a master's degree in 1974, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 1977. He was re-elected to the Court of Common Pleas in 2012 with 63.75% of the vote, defeating W. Kenneth Zuk. A lifelong resident of Clermont County, McBride has been a prominent figure in Ohio's judicial community.
