Hon. Robert S. Reeves

Judge Robert S. Reeves has served as the Chief Superior Court Judge in the Middle Judicial Circuit of Georgia since 2007, following his prior roles as a Judge Advocate in the U.S. Air Force and a private practice lawyer in Swainsboro for over three decades. He is renowned for founding the first drug court in the region and his extensive involvement in community organizations. Reeves has accumulated over 25 years of legal experience, which includes expertise in insurance defense, personal injury, and workers’ compensation cases. He is a member of several prestigious professional organizations, including the National Trial Lawyers Organization Top 100 Lawyers and the South Carolina Super Lawyers. Judge Reeves holds a Juris Doctor from Emory University Law School and has additional credentials in nursing from Medical College of Georgia.
