Hon. James Kerbow

Judge James Kerbow serves as Justice of the Peace for Precinct 3 in Denton County, Texas. He was born and raised in Lewisville, Texas, and attended the Lewisville Independent School District. After high school, he pursued higher education at North Central Texas College, Oklahoma State University, and the University of North Texas. Before becoming a judge, he worked in various roles at UDR United Dominion Realty. He was elected to his current position in November 2018 and has been active in community service, including roles with the Lewisville Noon Rotary and PediPlace. He was appointed to the Texas Justice Court Training Center's Education Committee and became the administrative judge for all Justices of the Peace in Denton County in January 2021.
