Hon. H. Patrick Haggard

H. Patrick Haggard has served as a Superior Court Judge in the Western Judicial Circuit of Georgia since 2011, following a long tenure as a Municipal Court Judge for the City of Winterville from 1992 to 2011. During his judicial career, he presided over high-profile cases, including the trial of Jose Antonio Ibarra, who was convicted of murdering Laken Riley. In 2013, Judge Haggard initiated the Western Circuit Veterans Treatment Court, demonstrating his commitment to innovative judicial solutions. Prior to his judicial appointments, he practiced privately in Athens and surrounding areas.
