Hon. S. Phillip Brown

S. Phillip Brown was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1967 and began his legal career as an attorney in Macon, Georgia. He attended the University of Georgia for his undergraduate studies and later earned his J.D. from Mercer University. Brown's early practice included handling cases involving car accidents, slip-and-fall incidents, and nursing home abuse. In 1995, he joined Anderson, Walker & Reichert, LLP as an associate, further expanding his legal expertise.<br/><br/>During his tenure as a judge of the Superior Court of the Macon Judicial Circuit from January 1996 until his retirement in December 2013, Brown presided over cases involving domestic relations, criminal matters, and civil disputes. He was recognized for his professional achievements with the President’s Circle designation. Additionally, he served as a member of the Georgia House of Representatives and was actively involved in community service, including his role as a Boy Scout leader.<br/><br/>After retiring from the bench, Brown continued his legal practice as an attorney at Anderson, Walker & Reichert, LLP.
