Hon. Heather H. Lanier

Heather Hendricks Lanier is the first female judge of the South Georgia Circuit Superior Court. She was sworn in as the newest Superior Court judge, succeeding Judge A. Wallace Cato. Lanier has a background as a deputy chief assistant district attorney for the Dougherty Judicial Circuit and has prosecuted various types of crimes. She is known for her community service and legal achievements, including arguing before the Georgia Supreme Court.<br/><br/>Professional Experience:<br/>Heather Hendricks Lanier has served in several capacities within the legal field, including serving as a Deputy Chief Assistant District Attorney and Senior Assistant District Attorney, demonstrating her expertise in criminal law.<br/><br/>Education:<br/>Heather Hendricks Lanier holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Georgia Franklin College of Arts and Sciences and a Juris Doctor from Mercer University’s Walter F.
