About
Raymond P. Voet is a judge of the Michigan 64A District Court, serving since 1999. He has held the position of Chief Judge of the circuit, district, and probate courts for Ionia and Montcalm counties since 2014. Prior to his judicial service, he served as a prosecuting attorney and assistant prosecutor in Ionia County. He earned a Bachelor’s degree from Aquinas College in 1984 and a J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 1987. He was elected to the 64A District Court in 1999 and re-elected in 2014. In 2022, he ran for the Michigan Court of Appeals but was defeated. He is licensed to practice law in Michigan.
