Hon. C. Michael Johnson

C. Michael Johnson is a seasoned trial lawyer and partner at Hall Booth Smith, P.C., with over 40 years of experience in complex insurance litigation. He has represented clients in insurance coverage disputes across more than 26 states and has argued before multiple U.S. Courts of Appeals. Johnson has served as past Chair of the Insurance Coverage Section of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel and is a Fellow of the American College of Coverage and Extracontractual Counsel. In addition to his private practice, he serves as a judge in the Oconee Judicial Circuit. His career began in Seattle, Washington, before relocating to Georgia in 1984, where he continues to practice and contribute to the legal community.
