Hon. Brian McCabe

Brian McCabe is a judge serving on the Superior Court of Merced County, California. Appointed by former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2010, he succeeded Betty Dawson and has held the position since 2004. McCabe earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Davis, followed by a Juris Doctor from Whittier College School of Law. Prior to his judicial appointment, he practiced privately, working as a sole practitioner from 2002 to 2004, a partner at Allen, Polgar, Proietti and Fagalde from 1994 to 2002, and an associate at the Law Offices of Kahn, Soares and Conway before 1994.
