Hon. Deanne Hilgers

DeAnne Hilgers is a judge serving the Minnesota 2nd District Court Position 2. She was appointed to the bench by Governor Mark Dayton on September 30, 2016, and was subsequently elected to a full term in the November 6, 2018 general election. Hilgers earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota and a J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law. Prior to her judicial appointment, she worked as an equity partner at Lindquist & Vennum, LLP, served as an adjunct professor at William Mitchell College of Law, worked as a judicial law clerk, and reported for The Forum in Fargo, North Dakota.
