Hon. Michael A. Knish

Michael A. Knish is a judge serving on the Superior Court of San Bernardino County, California, with a term ending January 4, 2027. He has served as a judge since 2012, previously as a commissioner of the same court from 2003 to 2012, and as a deputy public defender from 1995 to 2003. His legal career began as an associate attorney at the Law Office of Cedric Elias (1992-1994) and the Law Office of Jimmy Gutierrez (1995). Knish holds a bachelor's degree from Wake Forest University, a master's degree in English from California State University, Los Angeles, and a J.D. from Whittier Law School.
