Michael A. Sachs is a judge of the Superior Court of San Bernardino County in California. He has served in this capacity since his appointment by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in June 2007, and his current term runs until January 8, 2029. Prior to his judgeship, Sachs was chief deputy county counsel for the San Bernardino County Counsel's Office Litigation Unit from 1994 to 2007, and earlier worked as an associate at the law firm Roberts and Morgan from 1988 to 1994. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Irvine and a J.D. from Western State University College of Law. Sachs has been re-elected to the bench in 2010 and again in 2022, winning the 2022 election outright in the primary after the primary and general elections were canceled.
