Hon. Christopher J. Strandlie

Christopher Strandlie is a judge serving the Ninth Judicial District of Minnesota, appointed by Governor Mark Dayton on August 25, 2017. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota Duluth and a J.D. from the University of North Dakota. Prior to his judgeship, Strandlie worked as an assistant attorney in Cass County, an assistant public defender in the Ninth Judicial District, a partner at the Kimball and Strandlie Law Office, and an alternative public defender for the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.
