Hon. Hope Seeley

Hope Seeley is a distinguished judge serving on the Connecticut Appellate Court since May 2, 2022. Prior to her appellate appointment, she served as a judge on the Windham District Superior Court from 2013 to 2021 and was a partner at Santos & Seeley from 1989 to 2013. She earned her undergraduate degree in political science and her J.D. from the University of Connecticut in 1989. Throughout her career, she has chaired the Criminal Justice Section of the Connecticut Bar Association, led the Connecticut Criminal Justice Committee, and served on the executive board of the Connecticut Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, among other leadership roles. Her extensive experience in criminal law and appellate jurisprudence reflects her commitment to justice and public service.
