Brooke Allen for District Judge (February 15, 2016)

Allen earned her B.S. in business administration and international business from Auburn University in 1999. She later received her J.D. from Texas A&M University in 2005.[1]

Career
Allen joined Moses, Palmer & Howell, LLP as an attorney and partner in 2015. She previously served in the same role with Brown, Dean, Wiseman, Proctor, Hart & Howell, LLP from 2006 to 2015.[1]

Judges of the probate courts are elected in partisan elections by the county they serve and serve four-year terms, with vacancies filled by a vote of the county commissioners.[3]
Qualifications
To serve on a county court, a judge must:[3]

be at least 25 years old;
be a resident of his or her respective county for at least two years; and
have practiced law or served as a judge for at least four years preceding the election.
