<p><b>Jason Webster</b> is a judge of the <a href="https://ballotpedia.org/Superior_Court_of_Kern_County,_California">Superior Court of Kern County</a> in California. Webster assumed office in 2020. Webster's current term ends on January 8, 2029.</p><p>Webster won re-election for judge of the <a href="https://ballotpedia.org/Superior_Court_of_Kern_County,_California">Superior Court of Kern County</a> in California outright in the primary on <a href="https://ballotpedia.org/Municipal_elections_in_Kern_County,_California_(2022)">June 7, 2022</a>, after the primary and general election were canceled.</p>
<p>Governor <a href="/Gavin_Newsom" title="Gavin Newsom">Gavin Newsom</a> (D) appointed him to the court on December 8, 2020, to fill the vacancy of a new position created on September 24, 2019.<sup id="cite_ref-appt_1-0" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-appt-1">[1]</a></sup>
