Hon. Louis W. Oliver

Louis W. Oliver, III serves as the judge of the Sumner County Chancery Court in Tennessee’s Eighteenth Judicial District. He was elected to the position on August 7, 2014, and began his term on September 1, 2014, with the current term set to expire in 2022. Prior to his judicial service, Oliver maintained a solo legal practice in Hendersonville, Tennessee for over thirty-two years. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Middle Tennessee State University and a Juris Doctor from Nashville School of Law. His election victory in 2014, winning both the Republican primary and the general election without opposition, marks a significant achievement in his legal career.
