Hon. Stephen E. Toner

Stephen Edward Toner Jr. is a former judge of the Fifth Circuit Court of Florida, having served from 2013 until his term expired in 2019. Prior to his judicial appointment, he practiced law at his own firm, Toner Law Office, P.A., and held significant public defense positions, including Chief Assistant Public Defender for Citrus County and Public Defender for Hillsborough County. He earned a B.A. from the University of Central Florida and a J.D. from Stetson University. In 2012, he was elected unopposed to the Fifth Circuit Court, marking a notable milestone in his legal career.
