Hon. Doug L. Federspiel

Doug Federspiel is a judge serving on the Yakima County Superior Court in Washington, having been elected to the position in August 2012 and re-elected in 2016. Prior to his current role, he served as a judge on the Yakima County District Court and worked as an attorney in private practice. He also held the position of general counsel for Wilkinson Corporation, a nationwide business with numerous subsidiaries. Federspiel brings over three decades of legal and judicial experience, including six years on the bench, seventeen years of complex litigation in state and federal courts, and five years as corporate counsel. He is known for his commitment to the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and fair, objective adjudication.
