Hon. Clara L. Rigmaiden

Clara Rigmaiden is a judge on the Lane County Circuit Court of the 2nd Judicial District in Oregon. She was appointed to the position by Governor John Kitzhaber on September 4, 2013, and was re-elected unopposed in 2014 for a term expiring January 3, 2021. Rigmaiden began her legal career in 1999 as a civil attorney in private practice, then served as a staff attorney with the Southwestern Oregon Public Defender Services. From 2001 until her appointment to the circuit court, she worked as a public defender in Lane County. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Boise State University and a J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law.
