Lynn W. Hampton is a judge serving on the Umatilla and Morrow County Circuit Courts in Oregon. She was appointed by Governor Ted Kulongoski in January 2011 and announced in November 2017 that she would not seek re-election in 2018. Hampton earned both her undergraduate degree and her Juris Doctor from the University of Oregon. Her legal career includes roles as a child support attorney and tribal prosecutor for the Confederated Tribes, a deputy district attorney for Umatilla County, and private practice attorney. She has also chaired the Oregon Environmental Quality Commission and served on the Pendleton City Planning Commission. In the 2012 election, she defeated Jon Lieuallen, winning 55.08% of the vote for the Morrow County Circuit Court, Position 1.
