Hon. Cathleen B. Callahan

Cathleen B. Callahan serves as a judge on the Columbia County Circuit Court in Oregon's 19th Judicial District. She was elected to the bench in 2014 and has been presiding over cases since then. Prior to her judicial appointment, Callahan practiced law as a sole practitioner from 2012, handling primarily civil matters, and from 2000 to 2012 worked in private practice while also serving as a prosecutor for the City of Clatskanie. She earned her Juris Doctor from Willamette University College of Law. Callahan has been recognized for her service through numerous leadership roles, including past president of the Columbia County Bar Association and treasurer of SAFE (formerly Columbia County Women’s Resource Center).
