Hon. Daniel J. Hill

Daniel J. Hill is a seasoned jurist serving as a judge on the 3rd Judicial District in Morrow and Umatilla counties, Oregon. A graduate of Oregon State University (B.A. in Business Administration, 1983) and Willamette University School of Law (J.D., 1986), Hill has a long history of public service, including roles as a municipal judge, prosecutor, and judge pro-tem in Umatilla County. He has also served as a judge advocate in the U.S. Army and the Oregon Army National Guard, graduating from the U.S. Army Command & General Staff College in 1997. Hill has been a member of the Oregon Bar and has held judicial office since 2005, earning re-election unopposed in 2016. His career reflects a deep commitment to the administration of justice within Oregon’s circuit courts.
