Hon. Lindi L. Baker

Lindi L. Baker is the presiding judge of the Josephine County Circuit Court in Oregon, serving within the 14th Judicial District. She has been a judge on the circuit court since 2005 and was re-elected unopposed in both 2010 and 2016. Prior to her judicial tenure, Baker held a variety of legal positions, including general counsel for Specialized Liquid Transport, associate attorney at Heller Ehrman White & McAuliffe, staff attorney for the California Supreme Court, and criminal justice coordinator for Josephine County. She also served as a judge pro tempore and as a judge on the Josephine County Family Court. Baker earned a B.S. in criminology (1974) and an M.S. in interdisciplinary studies (1978) from Southern Oregon University, followed by a J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 1984. Her career reflects extensive experience in criminal law, family law, and general counsel responsibilities, and she is a member of the Oregon Bar.
