Hon. Janet L. Stauffer

Janet Stauffer is a circuit court judge serving Position 2 in the Oregon 7th Judicial District. She earned a B.A. from Seattle University and a J.D. from the University of Washington, and has been admitted to the Washington and Oregon bars since 1986. Prior to her judicial appointment, Stauffer worked as a litigation attorney, handling bankruptcy cases for banks and creditors and partnering with her husband on trial matters, including personal injury. She has also represented various law firms and solo practitioners. Stauffer is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, Oregon State Bar Association, and Court Appointed Special Advocates.
