Hon. Norman R. Hill

Norman R. Hill serves as a judge on the 12th Judicial District, Position 3 of the Polk County Circuit Court in Oregon. A graduate of California State University with a Bachelor of Arts and of Willamette University College of Law with a J.D., Hill spent 17 years in private practice as a partner at Martinis and Hill before entering the judiciary. He was appointed to the circuit court by Governor John Kitzhaber on February 6, 2012, and subsequently elected to the position in the November 6, 2012 general election, securing 75.55% of the vote. Hill is known for his intelligence, diligence, and professionalism, and he has a long record of volunteer service and public stewardship within the Polk County community.
