Mark Styles Jr. serves as a judge on the Missouri 16th Judicial Circuit Court, Division 19. He was appointed by Governor Jay Nixon on July 29, 2016, and was retained in the 2018 election with 69.9% of the vote. Prior to his judgeship, Styles worked as the deputy probate commissioner for Jackson County. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri and a Juris Doctor from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University.
