Anne B. Darring is the judge for the 306th District Court in Texas. She was elected in 2014 for a term beginning in 2015 and expiring in 2018.[1][2]

Education
Darring received her undergraduate degree from University of Southwestern Louisiana. She earned her J.D. from the South Texas College of Law.[3]

Career
Before her election as a district judge, Darring was an attorney in private practice. She owned and operated her own firm, The Law Offices of Anne B. Darring. Darring practiced in the area of family law for 23 years.[4]

Darring ran for election to the 306th District Court.Primary: She was successful in the Republicanprimary on March 4, 2014, receiving 33.8 percent of the vote.She competed against Jennifer Burnett and Wilfried Schmitz.Runoff: Because no candidate received more than 50 percent of the vote, Darring faced Schmitz in a runoff election on May 27, 2014. Darring won, earning 54.5 percent of the vote.General: She won without opposition in the general election on November 4, 2014.
