</p><p><b>Donald R. Zuidmulder</b> is a judge of the <a href="/8th_Judicial_District,_Wisconsin" title="8th Judicial District, Wisconsin">8th Judicial District</a> and a judge for the <a href="/Brown_County_Circuit_Court" class="mw-redirect" title="Brown County Circuit Court">Brown County Circuit Court</a> in <a href="/Wisconsin" title="Wisconsin">Wisconsin</a>.<sup id="cite_ref-1" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-1">[1]</a></sup><sup id="cite_ref-pr_2-0" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-pr-2">[2]</a></sup><sup id="cite_ref-3" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-3">[3]</a></sup> Zuidmulder was first elected to the <a href="/Brown_County_Circuit_Court" class="mw-redirect" title="Brown County Circuit Court">Brown County Circuit Court</a> in 1997, and was re-elected in 2009 and 2015. His term will expire in 2021.<sup id="cite_ref-election2015_4-0" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-election2015-4">[4]</a></sup><sup id="cite_ref-wew_5-0" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-wew-5">[5]</a></sup>
</p><p>On April 1, 2010, Zuidmulder was appointed by the <a href="/Wisconsin_Supreme_Court" title="Wisconsin Supreme Court">Wisconsin Supreme Court</a> as chief judge of the <a href="/8th_Judicial_District,_Wisconsin" title="8th Judicial District, Wisconsin">8th Judicial District</a>, succeeding former Chief Judge <a href="/Sue_Bischel" title="Sue Bischel">Sue Bischel</a>.<sup id="cite_ref-6" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-6">[6]</a></sup> He was re-appointed in 2012 and 2014 to additional two-year terms.<sup id="cite_ref-pr_2-1" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-pr-2">[2]</a></sup><sup id="cite_ref-7" class="reference"><a href="#cite_note-7">[7]</a></sup>
