Brad Seligman is a judge of the Superior Court of Alameda County, California, having served in that capacity since 2013 and currently holding a term that ends in 2027. He was appointed to the bench in December 2012 and was re-elected in 2020 by default when the election was canceled. Prior to his judicial service, Mr. Seligman held a variety of legal positions, including senior counsel and counsel at Impact Fund and Lewis, Feinberg, Lee, Renaker and Jackson PC, respectively. He also served as executive director of Impact Fund, litigation advisor for the Disabilities Rights Education and Defense Fund, and partner and associate at Saperstein, Seligman, Mayeda and Larkin. Earlier in his career, he was a senior law clerk for Judge Lawrence Karlton and a teaching fellow at Stanford Law School. Mr. Seligman earned a B.A. from Sonoma State University and a J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 1978.
