Hon. Mary E. Arand

Mary Arand is a judge of the Superior Court of Santa Clara County, California, serving since 2007. She was appointed to the bench in 2006 and has been re-elected unopposed in 2014 and 2020, reflecting the confidence of the community in her judicial service. Arand earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law in 1979. Prior to her judicial appointment, she practiced law as a partner at McManis, Faulkner & Morgan from 1999 to 2006, served as a partner with the Clark & Arand Partnership/Association, and worked as an associate attorney at Howell & Hallgrimson.
