Hon. Herman G. Walker

Herman Walker Jr. has served as a judge on the Alaska Third District Superior Court since his appointment in 2015, with a term that extends through 2025. He earned a bachelor's degree in political science from Arizona State University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Wyoming College of Law. Prior to his judicial appointment, Walker spent 15 years as a partner at the law firm Limón & Walker, and also worked for the Office of Public Advocacy and the State Public Defender Agency. In addition, he owned a The Body Shop franchise in Anchorage. He is a member of the Alaska Bar Association, the Alaska Association for Justice, and a founding member of the Alaska Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Walker is licensed to practice law in Alaska and continues to contribute to the legal community through his judicial service.
