Michael G. Reynolds is a judge serving on the New Mexico 7th Judicial District Court. He has been the incumbent judge since his appointment in July 2005 and was retained in the 2014 election with 72.9% of the vote. Prior to his judicial service, Reynolds practiced privately, served as an assistant district attorney, and worked as an associate in law firms for six years in Alaska. He earned a B.A. (1977) and a graduate degree (1981) from the University of Notre Dame, followed by a J.D. from the University of Wyoming in 1986. Reynolds is licensed to practice law in New Mexico and has been recognized by the New Mexico Judicial Performance Evaluation Commission for his performance on the bench.
