Hon. Anne Rasmusson

Anne M. Rasmusson is a district court judge serving the Ninth Judicial District in Mahnomen County, Minnesota. Appointed by Governor Mark Dayton in April 2013, she was re-elected in 2014 for a term expiring in 2020. Rasmusson earned a B.A. from the College of St. Catherine in 1996, an M.A. from the Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota in 2000, and a J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2000. Prior to her judicial appointment, she was a partner, associate attorney, and law clerk at Rust, Stock, Rasmusson, & Knutson, P.A. She has served as chair of the 14th District Bar Association, chair of the Polk County Developmental Achievement Center, vice chair of the RiverView Healthcare Association Board of Directors, and is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association.
