Nancy Buytendorp is a seasoned legal professional serving as the Third Judicial District judge for Winona County, Minnesota. She was appointed to this position by Governor Tim Pawlenty on July 15, 2008, and subsequently elected to a full term in 2010 and re-elected in 2016, both times running unopposed. Prior to her judicial appointment, Nancy built a robust legal career as an assistant Winona County attorney from 1992 until 2008 and contributed to legal education as an adjunct professor at Winona State University between 1996 and 2003. She earned her B.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1988 and her J.D. from Hamline University School of Law in 1991.
