Hon. Kevin A. Elsenheimer

Kevin Elsenheimer is a Michigan attorney and judge who has served on the 13th Circuit Court since his appointment by Governor Rick Snyder on January 9, 2017. Prior to his judicial appointment, Elsenheimer was a Republican member of the Michigan House of Representatives, representing District 105 from 2005 to 2011. He also ran for the 86th District Court of Michigan in 2010. Elsenheimer earned an associate degree from Northwestern Michigan College, a B.A. in history, philosophy, and psychology from Michigan State University, and a J.D. from Wayne State University. His professional experience includes serving as the executive director of the Michigan State Housing Development Authority, senior chief deputy director at the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, director of the Workers Compensation Agency, assistant prosecutor for the Antrim County prosecutor's office, and partner at the law firm Young, Graham, Elsenheimer & Wendling. He has been involved in legislative work, campaign finance, and various public service roles throughout his career.
