Nicholas McNamara is a nonpartisan judge serving on the Dane County Circuit Court, Branch 5, in Wisconsin. He has held this position since 2009 and was re-elected in 2010, 2016, and 2022, with his current term ending July 31, 2028. McNamara earned a B.A. from the University of Iowa in 1987 and a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1993. Prior to his judgeship, he practiced privately as an attorney from 1993 to 2009.
