Hon. William Andrew Sharp

William Andrew Sharp is a seasoned legal professional who has served as a judge on the Richland County Circuit Court in Wisconsin since his appointment by Governor Scott Walker in 2011. Prior to his judgeship, he held a long tenure as the district attorney for Richland County from 1993 to 2011, and earlier roles included assistant district attorney, assistant corporation counsel, child support enforcement attorney, and private practice attorney. He also clerked for the Dodge County Circuit Court after earning his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 1988. Throughout his career, Mr. Sharp has focused on criminal, family, and municipal law, bringing extensive courtroom experience and a commitment to public service.
