James R. Habeck has served as the Judge of the Menominee/Shawano County Circuit Court in Wisconsin since his first election in 2002, with re-elections in 2008 and 2014. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (B.S., 1976) and Marquette University Law School (J.D., 1979), Habeck has a long history of legal service in the region, including roles as Legal Counsel for the Wisconsin Towns Association, Corporation Counsel for Shawano County, Family and Judicial Court Commissioner, private attorney, and Assistant District Attorney for Shawano and Menominee counties.
