Hon. Margaret M. Koehler

Margaret Koehler serves as the judge for the Iowa County Circuit Court in Wisconsin, having been elected to the position in the general election on April 5, 2016. She earned a B.S. in education from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville in 1977 and later obtained her J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1987. Prior to her judicial appointment, Koehler worked as an economics and sociology teacher at Mineral Point High School from 1979 to 1984 and began her legal career in private practice in 1987. She has been a licensed attorney in Wisconsin for over five years, meeting the qualifications required for circuit court judgeship.
