Hon. Jon M. Theisen

Jon M. Theisen is a Wisconsin circuit court judge who has served the Eau Claire County Circuit Court since his appointment in 2011. He previously served as District Attorney for Chippewa County and has a background in private practice and education. He holds a B.A. in philosophy from the University of Notre Dame, a Master of Library Science from the University of Pittsburgh, and a J.D. from the University of Northern Illinois Law School. His career includes roles as partner and attorney at Herrick and Hart, as well as teacher and librarian prior to law school. In 2007 he was nominated as Prosecutor of the Year, and he was re-elected unopposed to the bench in 2012.
